At the previous note, I spoke about tips about Tokyo metro.
Today I would like to tell you a convenient transferring map (I put a link at bottom of this text. You will see an example of picture).
When you go to a platform of the subway, you can find the convenient transferring map, called “Norikae benri map” in Japanese.
That map is placed in somewhere of all Tokyo metro station. (put an example picture linked at column below.)
As you see the linked site, it is usually posted on a pillar of platform near the stairs.
On left side of the map, there are all stations of the line from end to end. And of middle to right side of the map, there are cars with numbers. In the numbered car, highlighted car shows there are exit, toilet, elevator, transferring stair and so on.
So it is easier to transfer other line or get off a station if you see the map and ride on the numbered car. You can check a sign of car number on the ground of plat home.
