Today I would like to tell you a restaurant condition around Tokyo.

Here in Tokyo, there are so many restaurants, Japanese food, French, Italian, Chinese and lots more.

If you look for famous fine dining, guide book or information web site will show you the one.

But you might also enjoy some popular restaurant like Ramen noodle, yakitori or called izakaya bar besides those restaurant.

I don’t know if foreign tourists enjoy Japan food experience hundred percent.
The reason is language.

Unfortunately, most of Japanese people speak only Japanese and don’t speak English or other languages well.

So you cannot expect them to communicate if you don’t speak Japanese.

Without Japanese speaking skill, you still have an option, which is fast food.
As you know fast food chain restaurant like McDonald has picture menu.

Japanese chain fast food, such as beef bowl, ramen noodle, soba and sushi, has also picture menu. And chain restaurants called “Family restaurant” in Japan has also picture menu.

Although servers of those restaurants rarely speak English, body language will be enough to have meal.
